While your airline may sell one-way tickets, it’s worth checking if your destination requires additional documentation, particularly for international trips.

According to Cheapflights data, some of the best deals for one-way domestic flights in the past two weeks were Hokitika to Christchurch at $64; Auckland to Wellington at $68; and Wellington to Auckland at $72.

You can score cheap one-way tickets to international destinations too. Recent Cheapflights data highlights some incredible deals, like Auckland to Rarotonga for $86; Hamilton to Sydney for $156; and Dunedin to Coolangatta for $166.
