Mumbai Airport is located at around a 22 km distance from the Mumbai city centre. The quickest way to get to the city centre is by taxi, which is very cheap at around ₹700 (NZ$ 14) with a journey time of about 1h, although this can take longer in extreme traffic conditions. The train also takes around 1h and is even cheaper at approximately ₹87 (NZ$ 2). The train leaves from nearby Vile Parle around every 5min and you must get off at Charni Road for Bombay Central.
