Another spot where you can see a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat is at Lusaka National Park; this is also a great spot to spend an afternoon having a picnic while you watch the animals.
For any citizen of New Zealand that wants to visit Zambia, you will need a passport that is valid for at least 180 days beyond your planned date of departure from Zambia. The passport will need to have three blank pages for entry into Zambia. If you are travelling as a tourist, you will need a visa to enter the country. You can obtain a visa through the Zambian government's website or you can obtain one when you arrive at the airport in Zambia. The cost for the visa is around ZK 823 (NZ$ 72).
