Getting around Bergen

A great way to get to Bergen, aside from flying, is on a scenic train ride from Oslo. It will take you at least eight hours, but the breath-taking Norwegian scenery makes it well worth it. Bergen’s public transportation is composed of buses, trams and trains that get you around the city quickly and cheaply. Most of the time you’ll be able to walk, since Bergen’s main attractions are close to each other, especially in Bryggen and at the waterfront.
