Ground staff in general were utterly disappointing. The person at the bottom of the escalator to the lounge was too busy on his phone to even bother looking at passengers stepping on.. what’s the point of having a staff there? Remove him and the counter. Majority of the USB ports were broken in the lounge. I did like all the live cooking station and food were delicious. Would have liked some gin and tonic though.. only a tiny trolly service wine. Boarding process was confusing at best. No clear signed for business and economy so many people just pushed in. They then proceeded to yell out “only business class” with no PA announcement.. once on the bus everyone pushed and mixed in so what’s the point of boarding the bus for business first ? Onboard experience was fine and at least crew were nice. Food was decent and flavoursome but I wouldn’t say refined. For a big new and nice airport the ground staff experience is definitely a put off to travel and transit with Turkish air.
