Cheap Car Rentals in Orlando

I did not realize that there was not an Avis shuttle from Orlando Airport. I asked a number of people and got the same response “you will need to take a taxi”. I was waiting in line for the Avis representative and my wife started talking to a gentleman at Payless Car Rental. He told her that they handled Avis and Budget car rental and he would match the price from Kayak. 10 minutes later we were on our way. My advice to you is to tell customers that you do not have a shuttle to downtown Orlando so that they will not be surprised or disappointed.

First and foremost, when someone books a convertable, thats what i expect. That person handeling check in at the jetblue terminal in orlando on saturday morning should be sent back for retraining. After showing my reservation with the convertable, he goes back and forth with me, telling me that in the “system” its a different category of car. I then went to show him the reservation again and he says thats not an avis reservation number. He says i should call the number on the reservation… so i did. And. IT WAS AVIS IN ORLANDO!!!! At this point im beyond furious going back and forth, that i said, in general, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS, GIVE ME WHATEVER YOU HAVE SO I CAN GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! Instead of resolving the issue, this individual wants to act like my ex girlfriend and tell me to calm down in a passive tone!! And then he says youre not allowed to be nasty here!! OOH IM SORRY, I DIDNT KNOW I LANDED IN FN PLEASANTVILLE!! AND I SAID THAT IN GENERAL NOT TO YOU!! This went on for 5-7 mins with people and kids online. Instead of focusing on a resolution, this chump wanted to argue with me, since he had no idea how to resolve the issue!! i paid for a convertable and got a dirty sports car. Inside and out. Cant wait for my next experience!

Avoid this company (in Orlando). It’s a bait and switch, they advertise low rates but when you get there, you have to prove you have rental car insurance elsewhere, otherwise they charge you a lot for car rental insurance plus charge you to get unlimited tolls” with their toll pass. Then, they inspect every inch of the car when you return (probably to try to get more money for damage). They are also located far away from the main car rental areas in Orlando airport - so add on another hour to your travels. I will never use them again!

This was the worst experience dealing with a business. They were dishonest, causing us to have to pay to upgrade $250.00 more on the vehicle. There was another 1.5 hr waiting for the upgraded vehicle to come up. We were given a very large Chevy Tahoe. ( we wanted a camry). The upgrade was suppose to be a Pathfinder. We were told they were removing a stain from the trunk.( for an hour) We demanded to see the Manager. He did come out. We explained how upset and unfair being forced to take the upgrade. He agreed to contact us on Monday. I was contacted by a service company and after much discussing was agreed that we would get $148.00 of the total cost. There were many unhappy customers there with us.

Car was super clean. Paperwork process and extra fees were a bit much.
