|Aug 2023Awesome counter guy at the Commerce Street location in Dallas !

|Jul 2023Oil change warning in the car came on, and customer service told me to have the oil changed and be reimbursed. Drop-off agent told me I violated protocol and shouldn’t have changed the oil (and paid for it out of pocket), all while typing and not making eye contact. I was then threatened with the $450 cleaning fee - which I didn’t violate. I’ll never rent from Avis again. Terrible experience.

|Mar 2023I rented an S-Class vehicle. It was not available when I arrived at the DFW counter. The rental agent gave me a sub-class car without telling me. It was also filthy. You could hardly see out the windshield. It had 70,000 miles on it, a Buick Encore. The steering was not perfect and after a good rainstorm it had a big scratch on the side. I was disappointed. It felt like a bait and switch. The details of the contract need to be fulfilled accurately, Avis, or it leads to a negative experience. Thank you.

|May 2025Horrible. They changed the size of my rental, added hidden fees, the front desk made us wait forever because he forgot he had gotten the keys to the car. We caught him talking to a coworker he had completely forgotten he had to finish taking care of us. Horrible experience, never renting with thrifty or dollar again. Alamo was great

|Feb 2024Waited for nearly an hour after arriving at the Payless rental area. They were understaffed and slow. My first car had a broken seat, broken USB port, smelled like smoke, was dirty, and covered in scratches. They offered me a smaller car immediately, which I had to take because I was late to an appointment after waiting too long. Will not use them, or Avis or Budget ever again.

|May 2023The pick-up in Dallas was horrendous! The line was about 10-12 deep when we started standing in it. There was only one person at the desk and about 1.5 hours later we were able to pick up the car. There should have been at least 2 persons working the desk! Due to the delay in getting the car, we missed the family dinner that we were in Dallas to enjoy! I'll never rent another car without registering for a quick pick-up/fly through!

|Aug 2022I was overcharged for fuel. Staff said I’d pay $3.50 per gallon if I had them fill the tank when I returned the car. I was charged that, plus an additional amount more than $60 for something related to fueling the car. No one mentioned having them fuel the car would cost me more than $60 in addition to the fuel price. That was corrupt. The car was disgustingly filthy inside and out, but I didn’t have time to be picky, so I took it. There is no way on earth that car was cleaned at all between renters. Bits of food in the seats and ground into the carpet. Sticky drink spills on three of the seats. Some stain on the ceiling above the driver??? A used paper napkin stuffed into a drink holder. Just foul.

|Mar 2026I was not even able to rent the car and was charged full price even though through no fault of my own the flight was delayed and didn’t get in before Easirent’s closing time for the day. I spoke to customer service and they informed me that it was a no show and therefore could not be cancelled.

|May 2024It is a get what you pay for. Car worked fine but definitely has a lot of bumps and bruises. Lots of scratches and dents. I brought the car back after hardly driving any miles. I really only needed it to go back and forth to the airport. I filled it up even though I receive the car with 3/4 of a tank. I mentioned that the tire pressure indicator was showing the back right tire was low. The person accused me of possibly hitting something without even looking at the car. I travel a lot. Won’t be using this car rental agency again

|May 2023WHEN I TELL YOU THAT EASIRENT MAY BE THE ONLY COMPANY I WORK WITH! I hope I have your attention now. Let me explain my Dallas trip. I had used Easirent during the first half of my vacation in Austin so I was already familiar with the company. This part of the trip I had assumed my Amtrak train would be slightly delayed but wasn't anticipating 2 hours worth of delay. (Important note: CHECK the hours of the offices, it varies from location to location). By the time my Lyft got us to their office they were closed but I spotted an employee locking up. After explaining the situation to her and her manager they let me pick up my rental. Everyone was extremely kind and I'm so grateful that my first semi solo trip to Texas was made so much easier with their Austin and Dallas teams.
