1. There is no proper assistance with rebooking when flights are delayed . I had a connecting flight , from IAD to Atlanta , which was missed because of delay . No body assisted me in correct manner , instead they made around terminals 3 terminals for a ticket . Customer care did not help , nor they assisted where i can go get a ticket. They simply said ask security to find out where Lufthansa service center is located , we all went to terminal B where the Lufthansa terminals are and again we were denied they cannot issue tickets . There were several passengers roaming not knowing what to do . A Lufthansa staff member told us to got main terminals for tickets. finally the last option was go to main gate arrivals and ask there . In between this time we missed couple flights to destination . If there was proper assistance at-least half of them would have reached their destination , i think . In my case i had to stay at hotel to catch next day flight . I had patience ,but i saw other passengers stressed , exhausted , literally in tears …. . Nobody fault here when flights are delayed due to weather , but expect better assistance to passengers after the delay rather than making passenger figure out what is the rest of the process .
