Cheap Flights to Brest

When is the best time to fly to Brest?

Choose a month below to see average flight price and weather conditions.

Brest has a mild, humid, temperate climate. This means that summers in the city are warm and there is no dry season. Annual temperatures vary from 4 to 21 degrees. The warm season lasts from June to September and is the most popular time to plan flights to Brest. The coldest time of the year is from November to March.

The off-peak season is the best time to take advantage of great deals on hotels and cheap flights to Brest. At the beginning of September the tourist season falls off sharply and it is during the cooler months in early September and March that you will find good weather and reasonable prices in the city. Special event weeks and weekends, school holidays and the festive season have the most expensive rates in France and it can also get crowded, so for a quieter, cheaper, holiday, try the beginning and the end of the off-season. If you don’t mind some cold weather and rain, then book a flight to Brest during January and enjoy warm fireplaces and exotic French wine and cuisine.

Brest overview

This beautiful town in Brittany, France is visited each year by travellers in search of culture, history, adventure, romance and fine food. Like many towns in France, Brest combines a sense of mystery and history with contemporary and ancient arts and culture, fine restaurants and striking views.

Well known for its Recouvrance Bridge, Siam street, Tanguy tower and Castle Street, this pristine and busy city offers a great choice of attractions, landmarks, adventure and cultural activities to enjoy. The Marine Museum offers a journey into the area’s maritime history and the city is home to a botanical garden which grows and cultivates several endangered plant species.

Taking a trip into the nearby natural areas heralds a rich variety of landscapes, from granite cliffs and grottos to sandy beaches where you can stroll, relax and soak up the sun. Windsurfing, sunbathing and boating or yachting are popular activities in the city. Its Naval port can be found along the Penfeld river. The Saint Saveur church in recouvrance is the oldest Brest church.
